- Prior to joining the staff at OCO, Mr. Niedrauer taught Biology, Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology for many years at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, CA where he also served as Science Department Chairman and eventually Dean of Students and Counselor. In his spare time he owned and operated a commercial grade A goat dairy and certified organic sweet potato farm while helping his wife home school their 9 children. He also coaches cross country, track and field and football. In terms of educational philosophy, Mr. Niedrauer likes to remember the Psalmist who says, Great are the works of the LORD; They are studied by all who delight in them. The Creation is to be studied, harnessed and used to benefit mankind in a responsible way. The Creation is a blessing from God to us. We must be cautions, however, and heed the warnings. It is easy to get caught up in worshipping this amazing creation and not the Creator. Thus we must always filter the haze of information and disinformation bombarding us each day through the lens of God's Word in all that we learn and then, in turn, teach to others.
