Oaks Christian Online Junior Studies While Playing Golf in Korea
Yoona Chang practices with the Korea Golf Academy in Seoul while completing rigorous, online college-preparatory coursework.
Yoona Chang joined Oaks Christian Online half way through her sophomore year in order to pursue her dream of becoming a golf professional and complete her American diploma online. Yoona is from West Hills, CA, but her family is from Seoul, Korea, and they knew about the rise of women golfers from the more than 500 golf academies there. While Yoona has only been playing for a year, she attended her first junior tournament in Korea's Jeju Island in April of this year. Her score was not what she had hoped for, but she states, "There are so many good women golfers in Korea; it makes me realize that if I keep it up, I will get better."

Spiritual Life Theme for the Year
The 2015-2016 school year promises to be an exciting one in the Spiritual Life & Bible department! Per student request, we will be going through the adventurous book of Revelation in our live sessions. Thematically, this book will fit well within our year-long theme of "Surrender", a topic that will gives us all (students, staff, and faculty) an opportunity to consider the ways in which all parts of our lives can be directed toward Christ in order to live meaningful and thoughtful lives of worship. This year also brings two exciting changes: a new Bible 1 & 2 teacher, and four brand new Spiritual Life courses. We have so much to celebrate already and so much more to come!
