Transitioning Online Together During the COVID-19 Pandemic

In response to the ongoing health concerns regarding COVID-19 , the staff and faculty at Oaks Christian Online have been working together to provide resources and solutions to any students or schools who need to transition to virtual education in this season.

We continue to seek ways to leverage the 10 years of experience we have in this educational space, to help others who are new to these methods of teaching.  Last spring, we hosted a virtual session titled “Simple Setup” designed to offer an introduction to online education.  For any who were unable to join us, here is a recording: www.oakschristianonline.org/onlineteachingwebinar

Additionally, we created a public training in which we seek to offer continued support during these months as administrators, families, and faculty consider how to develop and support new remote learning environments.

Access the course here: www.oakschristianonline.org/onlineteachingcourse

We also offer over 100 course options for Middle School and High School for families or partner schools who seek proven, high-quality, course options to continue student learning and ease the challenge of transition; if you are interested in this kind of resource for spring or have any other questions, please contact our dean of students, Jeff Ogne: jogne@oakschristian.org.

Overall, we want to say: We are here to help, and we are here to pray.

May the “peace of Christ rule in your hearts” (Colossians 3:15a).
