Early Childhood Education Syllabus
Want to have an impact on the most important years of human development? Students will learn how to create fun and educational environments for children, how to keep the environment safe for children, and how to encourage the health and well-being of infants, toddlers, and school-aged children.
This is a 1 semester course consisting of 10 units. Upon successful completion students will receive 0.5 credit towards high school graduation.

Required Course Materials

Methods of Evaluation
Students will demonstrate mastery through the following formative and summative assessments:
- 40% Assignments
- 10% Participation (Discussion Posts, Synchronous Sessions)
- 10% Quizzes
- 25% Mid-Term and Final Exam
- 15% Unit Tests
