Exciting News about Next School Year
OCO will be sending out re-enrollment packets in February and is excited to announce that we\'ve listened to our parents that would like to start the school year earlier. The 2015-2016 school year will begin on Monday, August 10th, and the first semester will end on Wednesday, December 16th. Second semester will begin on Monday, January 5th and will end on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. This change of calendar will do several things: seniors will be able to get completed first semester transcripts to colleges more quickly, students who need first semester extensions will have two and a half weeks to complete those over the Christmas break, and the school year will end earlier - making room for summer school and summer breaks. We\'re excited about some of these changes and will share more in our returning student packets coming out this month.
