End of 1st Semester: December 14th
Spring semester begins January 4th and run through May 24th. Be sure you have all your required texts and materials before your course(s) begins on January 4th. Oaks Christian Online wishes all of its students, families and staff a blessed Christmas holiday. Students will be on Christmas break from December 19th until January 3rd. Courses will open January 4th. The Oaks Christian Online office will also be closed from December 19-25th and December 30-Jan 2nd. Have a blessed holiday season!

Online Christian Consortium Provides Accredited Learning Platform for Other Faith-Based Schools
The Online Christian Consortium (http://www.onlinechristianconsortium.org/), a leadership organization of schools committed to Christian, college-preparatory online programs, extends an invitation to other Christ-based schools to join its coalition. The Consortium\'s Partner Schools will benefit from sharing specialized online curriculum, best practices and other resources.
College Counseling: Online College Tour of Arizona State University, December 5th
Join us in the College Counseling online classroom for our live session with Arizona State University. ASU is one of the largest public universities in the country but they have learned how to make a large university feel small by opening campuses across their city with focus on particular areas of study. This amazing national research university is one of the 50 "Colleges That Create Futures." They are Division 1 NCAA athletics and compete in the PAC 12. Our meeting starts at 1:30pm PST, be there to learn about this great school.
Advent at OCO
Advent is underway at OCO! Full time students, faculty, and staff are enjoying the opportunity to journey together through our seasonal devotional in preparation for Christmas. One teacher, in response said: "Thanks so much for the advent book! Just read the first chapter (smiley face) already a treasure and a blessing." We are also all excited for our online Spiritual Life Christmas Party on December 7th which promises to be full of surprises for our students!.
On-Campus USC College Tour, December 8th
Students can join Mrs. Locke on December 8th to visit the home of the Trojans by meeting at the OCO office no later than 10:30am and should plan on returning around 4:30pm. USC is an internationally recognized research universities, and one of the colleges named in the book, "College that Create Futures." Student need to RSVP with Mrs. Locke by Thursday, December 1st so we are sure to have enough transportation arranged and should plan on bringing money for lunch.
Online Information Session
OCO accepts students for the spring semester. All students and families interested in attending OCO for either a single course, or full-time enrollment, should attend an information session. Admissions Director, Brittany Lindsey, will cover topics such as: college counseling, spiritual life, admissions information, and a day in the life for an online student. Upcoming sessions will be on Tuesday, December 13th at 9am and 6:30pm PST.
